PGWP holders can apply for a new open work permit

Post-graduation work permits (PGWPs) are open work visas granted for up to three years to international students who complete a program of study in Canada. Additionally, according to IRCC, roughly 2,500 TR2PR applicants have already been granted an open work permit under this new policy. The expiration date of these work permits will be December 31, 2022.
